Lard, coconut oil, castor oil
I was heating up my oils and I noticed a bunch of bubbles. My first thought was I added water by accident but I know that didn't happen, so I can't figure out if that is water at the bottom or castor oil. I used castor oil from Wholesale supplies plus. What do you think?

I would think bubbles can form in any liquid, including any oils, no? But I never payed close enough attention to mine to see whether it does.

Lard is usually 12-15% water. How hot were you making the oil blend?
When I took it out of the double boiler it was 120°F. I am going to let the oils sit overnight and heat them again tomorrow and see what happens.

Probably but if they were air bubbles they would rise to the top because the oils are not that heavy and it was hot so the oils were thin.
