Want to make my own lip balm flavoring

I have huckleberries, mint, raspberries, etc growing around my house I want to use them to make my own lip balm flavoring how can I do this? I found out how to make extract with vodka but lots of sites say that vodka wont mix with oils or lip balm mixture. Anyone try this with oils instead and what's shelf life?

Alcohol will not work in lip balm. You could try infusing it into coconut oil (mint only). I wouldn't put any food product into it at all. Sounds like way too much work for me. I'll buy my flavors.
