I made some soap yesterday cp, but i soaped it too hot!, i had a volcanic reaction lol, i then dumped it back into the bowl, gave it a massive stir( it was like stingy glycerin). Back it went into the mould and i have turned it out this morning, will cut it soon. So even though i was doing cp, did i end up doing a little bit hp style, i have never done hp before.

Well, technically, a volcano doesn't equal HP  Live and learn, right?
Were your oils hotter than your lye?
Make sure you zap test when you cut that soap!

Hahaha, well yeah, first time for everything. So you want me to touch my soap with my tongue for zap! never done that before .

Do it! Do it! Do it!

Well, as archaic as it may sound, it is pretty reliable to find if your soap is lye heavy...
If you don't want to actually stick your tongue to it, you can wet your finger, rub it on the soap, and then touch your tongue...if it feels like the end of a 9 volt battery, or a zing, or a "bite", or anything besides salty bitter soap taste...you may want to reevaluate your recipe. People have been doing it for years and we've all (well, most of us) survived

I think zap tested soaps should be marketed as:

TONGUE TESTED - SKIN APPROVED

or...

IF IT'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR MY TONGUE, IT'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOUR SKIN

or...

I LICK EACH BAR TO ASSURE YOUR SAFETY

or... :Kitten Love:

So, I decided to zap test all my other curing bars of soap, all the same ingredients, fine , no zap. The one that i did yesterday, the volcano one, yup it had zap yuck nasty. So will it cure out in 4 weeks like the others, or do i have to throw it away?

Just rebatch it if it's lye heavy and add a little extra oil.
