If you have not tried Volcano from California Candle Supply you should. I sold it out in 2 markets, granted not a lot of bars (14) but that is a fast seller for me at my small markets. It is just a fabulous fruity scent that is holding well, although I cannot say if it will hold a year since I have none left. I will be keeping a bar from my next batches to see, but after a 3 month cure they held perfect. I just bought 3 lbs and pouring 3 more batches today. The fragrance is a bit on the orange side so it is almost impossible to get a pink, but blues and purples work well with it. Using it in my lard /tallow recipe I get very little acceleration but I do usually pour at emulsion. Today I am making my vegan with 45% palm and I am guessing it may accelerate. I love this fragrance....

Any other recommendations from that supplier? I'm looking for new FO suppliers. I've been a pretty solid WSP consumer for 3 years, and have not been happy with some of the recent price and quality changes for FO's.

1. I love his Plumeria, it is the most realistic I have found and does not give me a migraine like other Plumerias I have tried. It does accelerate but is manageable with a slower tracing recipe
2 I just poured his Eucalyptus and it is promising. I just cannot get Eucalyptus EO to hold well enough
3. Berry Blitz is not bad, I have some customers that really like it. I will have to check on how it acts
4. Love Spell is wonderful and soaps nicely with no discoloration
5. Hardwood Musk is one of my dupes. I think this is a new formulation but it was still nice when I smelled it last week.
6. I am testing the Cedarwood Vanilla, so will have to get back to you on that one.
7. Lemongrass is a beautiful lemon. Not quite as green as lemongrass but a cool crisp lemon to my nose. No acceleration or
discoloration.
8. Black Ice is very strong soaps well but not a good seller for me
9. Grapefruit Mangostana is very nice and holds well, but another spotty seller for me. Not sure why because I love it.
10. Island Hibiscus is nice and not to hard to work with. Does not jump off the shelves
I am going to pour some 1 lb batches using his Coconut, Caramel Tobacco and Sweet Pea
Right now he has free shipping and a lower price for mix and match 5 lbs

If you like Black Raspberry Vanilla soapsupplies.net has a great one that actually clings for a little while. It does not discolor or accelerate.

Who are you talking about for supplies... I’m sorry I’m post dropping but I am really new at making soap but the first time I did it I was hooked... idk there is just something so soothing for me and no matter how I mess it up, I’m still super happy afterwards.

As I mentioned in the OP these are fragrances from California Candle Supply. He does not carry soaping supplies since his business is a Candle Supply, but a couple of years ago I was able to get him to change over the fo's to Body Safe. Not all his fo's are body safe yet, but slowly they are getting there http://calcandlesupply.com/

Omg. I just looked through his fragrances and the grapefruit mangostana jumped out at me, even before I came back to look at your recommendations. I love mangosteen when I am in Asia and have been wanting to get the fragrance in a soap. If I can get some of my current fragrance stash cleared out, I'll be ordering from him for sure. I have to set boundaries because I am an FO ho, and my current "one drawer" rule is actually two drawers and a line up on the work station.

I will send you a sniffie, but I am back at the parents so I cannot guarantee when I will get to the post office. I have no idea what Mangosteen smells like but I really like the fragrance oil from Cal Candle. Talking about fragrance I have two free standing 36x72" cabinets filled with fragrances. Lately I have been cleaning some out and sending some of my quite old ones to hazardous waste

I tried to report @Agilex Fragrances but I don't have the right permissions. Please stop spamming your wares.

I went through one drawer the other night and pulled out some of the FO's that only had .5-1 oz in them. I'll probably do cupcakes with them. I like to give my regular customers soap cupcakes on their birthday, so fragrances that didn't sell well or that I don't have enough to make a proper batch work well for these giveaways. I have one customer who told me she keeps her cupcake in her work office and everyone comments on it when they come in. #musthaveallthefragrances is just as much a struggle for me as #musthaveallthecolors. I have to make rules for myself. Adulting is hard.

I've notified the poster and am on it. :)

I love Volcano scents - I will definitely check them out. I got hooked on the scent after I got one I got from Aztec. I used it in two small batches of wax - one plain and one mixed with Red Cedar FO I got from another vendor. It was also the first fragrance I put in hemp soap (I didn't make a lot of it - but its been on my list to make again for awhile.)
