My violin teacher has asked me if I can make violin-shaped soap or my usual bar soap with a violin stamp to give as gifts to her students.
She knows I'm in the process of making my addiction a business and has spread the word to other instructors at the Academy and there is a lot of interest...they think it would be fun to give the kids bubblegum scented violin soap as rewards and a more mature scent (she mentioned patchouli) for the adult students.
I think the kids would like guest-sized violin shaped soaps and adults would prefer bar soap with a violin stamp.
BUT I haven't been able to find either a suitable violin mold OR a violin stamp!!
Anyone know where I can find these??

I saw that this shop is located in China. I get my mold supplies in China too. Though there are bad comments about the things over in China, so far my molds are of good quality and I like it. But I got it through another way though. The prices are reasonable to begin with too.

Great idea! I played violin all through high school and college, but will admit while I may Loooooove the instrument, I am not gifted enough to be more than a casual player. Love the idea of violin molds! My husband graduated from college with a degree in vocal performance and still occasionally teaches, would be cool to stamp musical notes all over the soap as a musical gift!

Thanks everyone!
I saw the etsy molds and I really liked a couple of them but was thinking it would be expensive to buy enough molds to make even a small batch...then I checked the sizes and did a double-take!! I keep thinking I'm missing something because $10.99 is a little steep for a single mold less than 2.25" square...and $4.95 for a single mold the size of a jelly bean??!!
The vendio molds look nice as well, but I didn't see a size listed...
Yeah, I have no musical talent despite my early education and many years of piano! I just play to amuse myself but I've always wanted to learn to play the violin, so I'm indulging myself...the best I can say for my progress is that at least the cat doesn't run from the room anymore ;)

If anyone runs across a violin soap stamp, please let me know! I'm going to keep searching, but I think I'll start looking for a treble clef stamp as well....might be easier to find.

HappyDIY on Etsy can do custom stamps for you... looks like she charges between $4.00 - $10.00 depending on the design I would assume. The only drawback is she's located in China so expect a bit of a wait for your finished product.

Will do Cere, I didn't realize they were so small. Perhaps you could find a toy violin of some kind and make your own silicone mold?
