Vanilla

So most of the FOs im seeing have vanilla in them. So they will discolor right? Do you use a stablizer to keep the color white or are all your soaps shades of brown with vanilla in them. ... im confused with the whole thing.

I tend to gravitate to the vanilla scents too. I have used the VS but prefer not to any more. I split my batch in 2 and add the FO to 1/2, I add some TD to the other half and swirl the 2 together. It gives a 2 tone effect, it isn't always fool proof, it might go all brown. You can also do layers with the split batch technique.
