This one looks promising. What usage rate do you prefer for this one? I don't want it nauseatingly strong but I also don't want it disappearing.
I probably used 4 to 5 percent* (definitely not more than 5 percent). My recollection is of a soft, sweet bakery scent, like vanilla cookies with a bit of spice. Not super strong, "knock your socks off every time you walk by" fragrance, but definitely present and pleasant. Those I gave soap to seemed to like it a lot, and I should probably make some more! However, there are so many, many fragrance oils [will NOT turn my head and look at the overstuffed shelf], always something new to try, and so little time....😼

*I don't typically think to purchase bakery-type scents, but this one came in one of the FO sample collections BB releases periodically, and I had only around 2 ounces to use. I was tickled to have a soap that smelled like that but didn't turn brown!

Do you have a favorite FO that this definitely works well with? I need tried and true, no surprises. I'm looking at Warm Vanilla Sugar and Vanilla Bean Noel. Not sure which is best and which supplier to choose but I think either scent would work. I'm also looking at one a little outside the box... Nurture's Comfort and Joy, which doesn't discolor according to the reviews.
I used NS Comfort & Joy last year and it did not discolor. Lots of raves for the scent - very holiday season.

Thank you @A-Polly! I ordered it and am praying the shipping speed is faster than last time I ordered from BB!
You're welcome! But oh goodness, I hope you get it quickly, too!* I'm about as far away from BB as possible on the mainland US, and with the standard ground shipping plus order processing my most recent orders have taken around 11 or 12 days to arrive. I think you can pay extra for a faster shipping service (by air) but I've never tried that.

*And after all that, I truly hope it suits your purpose and doesn't turn out to be a waste of money and time! Fragrance is so subjective, I know that, but still....🍀🤷‍♀️
