Vanilla in soap

I bought a soap that lists vanilla extract as an ingredient, but it appears to be a cp soap. I have read that the alcohol from extracts can ruin a soap. Any thoughts of this? How can I get a really nice, natural, vanilla fragrance?

Not sure about this, but I think that Vanilla Extract is also the name of a Vanilla FO. Sorry I can't help with any of the questions.

Vanilla powder

I've just recently read about this vanilla powder. Has anyone used it before and does anyone know of any good sources to buy it, preferably Canadian?

I haven't tried it yet, but I want to get some for milk baths. And for baking. I bake a LOT and can't stand artificial vanilla. I've seen it on a few sites, but so far the prices seem to be all over the place.
