Valentines cake sliced

My Valentines cake I made for my sisters shop sliced.
Gone dark where the icing touches the cake. It is all CP.
Maybe it was the liberal paintings of Alcahol I painted on it to make sure the icing stuck? The Alcahol had quite a yeasty smell and was given to me from a home brew.

That is the one that has Marshmallow fluff in it. I poured the whole darn 100 mills in I think. I wasn't impressed with the perfume before but It has settled in well. That is a big Trees one.
I am going to send it to my sister like that and she can display it with her Valentines display and the other little cakes I am sending her.
I feel great about being able to do this for her shop.
In a way I want some my self but I will send it all.

Did you mold it in a regular 'ol bundt cake pan? (How do you get it to come out? Wax paper? Spray stuff?) I have a bundt cake pan and never make REAL bundt cakes, but I'd try a soap bundt cake for sure lol

I love sisters.
So sit quietly and open both your hands. Close your eyes and here it comes. Ethereal slice of Valentines cake. The little magical stars are twinkling all around it .Hold it there for a moment and make a wish.
Then when you are ready put your ethereal slice of cake on a special plate somewhere special and when ever you need to take a bite.

I found a microwave Bundt Cake pan that someone had bequeathed me way back and nearly went in the rubish as it wasn't flexible.
I oiled it a bit then just poured the batter in. 24 hours later I put it in my freezer for some timeI forget how long.Then I ran it under hot water .The cake just slithered out.
Lucky me :wink:
I had spent weeks looking for a flexible mold while that one hopped around nipping at my heels saying pick me.
