Hello all, So i've been reading up on lotions and scrubs and such and noticed that you have to add the lovely preservatives to each product to keep the germs away and such.. so how do you know which preservatives to add to lotion and what to add to the scrubs and such? What's the differences between them all? I see that some use alchohol? and some use others that I can't pronounce lmao I'm just looking at recipes so I can see what I need to purchase so I can get my goodies together :D

Well, Using Preservatives you can Extend the Shelf Life of Your Products. Because, Commercial products are typically loaded with preservatives to allow them to remain fresh during the long span between the time of manufacture and the time the customer finishes using it.
