I want to try a making a cake soap. I have heard silicone molds work quite well.
Does anyone have tips for soap making using a bundt cake mold. I am a little leary, will the soap release easily? should I coat mold with vaseline or something else for easy release?
I want to make a lavender swirl soap then once unmoulded drizzle white soap for icing and put silk flowers in hole of cake.

Your cake sounds great , you don't have to do anything to the silicone , that's the beautiful thing about it .Pour your soap , let it set and it will come right out.
