Undesolved milk powder

Made this yesterday. This is designed to be a facial soap. Added clay and powdered milk to oils and then added lye. Maybe I should reverse that order?

IDK- I’ve used this milk powder before but the results didn’t look gritty

Next time try mixing your milk powder with a little water and then mix it into the oils. See if that makes any difference.

Regardless, it's a nice speckled, "natural" look

Thanks! I’ll try that. I don’t mind the speckles. Just irritated that powder left speckles and the reconstituted ice cubes I made didn’t.
