I’m wondering if I have DOS on some areas of two batches of soap that I unmolded and cut on June 4.

On the red/pink/yellow swirl soap I’m seeing some discolouration on the tops that almost look like rust puddles. But I’m wondering if this could be due to a weird mixing of the red and yellow batter (trace was way too light when I poured).

On the watermelon soap, I’m seeing some tiny dots in the pink and I’m not sure if those are DOS or just specks of the pink mica?

The only difference in my recipe and storage method for these batches was that I finally used distilled water instead of well water, and switched to water TD for the red/yellow swirl....somehow I doubt this would be the culprit for DOS though. Help!

If you made your soap around June 4 of this year, I'd say it's too early for DOS. In your Watermelon soap, it definitely isn't DOS, and it doesn't really look like it on the other one either.
Oh thank god! I love that watermelon soap way too much to have to can it!

DOS is such a huge fear of mine. I think I’m making myself paranoid. Thank you @Misschief !!!!!

Thanks, all! Lack of blending (specifically the FO as @shunt2011 mentioned) is a strong possibility. These were new-to-me FOs and I was probably worried about acceleration so may have under blended after coming to emulsion.
