The soap looks fantasic - love the layered look of the Blueberry Crunch - looks good enough to eat!

Nice soap! Love the bee soaps, I bet they sell well for you. Everywhere I am seeing honey and oats soap, that's one I haven't made yet, might be on the list for this weekend! My sister has very sensitive skin so I am thinking buttermilk/honey/oats, no fo. Yummeh!!
Oh and that is the cutest car! Don't you just love that new car smell!!

I have a non-gel question...

What sort of properties does not allowing the soap to gel give the soap?

I've split batches & gelled half and refrigerated the other half for a non gel just to see the difference for myself. The pros for non gel are suppose to be that the color is a little lighter, maybe a little creamier and the scent is not suppose to morph as much as a gelled batch. The cons for a non gel are that it takes longer to setup (not to mention it takes up valuable refrigerator space + have to warn DH not to eat the soap!)
In my experience, one batch that I split I used lemongrass and lemon scents and now that 2 months have past, I honestly cannot tell which bar was gelled and which wasn't. Color is the same, texture appears to be the same, and the scent is no different. One batch that I refrigerated and poured into small individual milky way molds took 3 days before I could even touch the stuff (it felt like softened cream cheese) whereas the gelled batch was good to go the next morning.

My experience with non gelling is very limited but I think it's a matter of preference. Since I am an extremely impatient person :( , I prefer to gel.

I finally got around to taking pics...I cut up these soaps yesterday
This is the Blueberry Crunch....

And this is the Oats & Honey....

The blueberry still smells so awesome! The Oats & Honey I was a little concerned that it smelled funky (it is unscented...but last batch smelled awesome naturally) but it seems better today...more like the last batch. Although today some of the Oats&Honey bars seem to be sweating (like M&P soap)...I am assuming it is the honey? Granted it has been raining for the last 2 days...so most of my soaps feel sweaty :?

It was blueberry from Sweetcakes. First time I used it...smells yummy...but then again I don't have any other blueberry-ish smells to compare it with.
