I make soap from silicone loaf molds all the time and would like to try some designs using a silicone slab mold but I can't seem to locate a mold that will cut nicely into a 3.5 x 2.5 soap. For some reason all the soap suppliers only make slabs for a 3 x 2 soap, I am wondering if any of you have located a slab mold that will cut nicely into a 3.5 x 2.5 without a lot of waste. It certainly doesn't need to be the standard 2.5 inches deep either, 1 1/2 would be plenty deep for my needs.

Yes, I know I could get my husband to make a wood one for me but I am lazy and don't like to line my molds, would really like a silicone one.

Our local wine shops sell these nice wooden boxes with a sliding lid for shipping wine. The 1-bottle size is just under 4" wide and about as tall. I used a pencil to make a 2 1/2" mark to fill to. After I learned the amount of oils needed, I didn't need to mark it any more. It's not silicone, but it worked for me in the early days when I was keeping my eyes open for anything that could be used for a soap mold.
