Trademark

I'm selling my soap and everybody tells me to Trademark my name, but the info is so confusing,lawyer yes,no,fees this much,that much.
Did anybody here Trademark and has some info foe me?

Sorry cant help in that department but must say I have often thought it is something I should look into as all my labels stamps ect have Lynnz plastered all over them would have to totally rebrand if another Lynnz came along..............................Waving Hi

I've never tried to do it, but this looks helpful. http://www.uspto.gov/trademarks/process/index.jsp I would guess that, with some work and research, you could probably file for it yourself.

It says there's a $50 processing fee.
