I tested out my 10lb mold yesterday, but when I went to punch in my numbers into the lye calculator I added the total amount of oils AND water so instead of making 138oz of oil it was something like 176! I now have probably around 14lbs of castile soap scented mildly with Lavender EO (3 TBSP).

Any suggestions for rebatching lavender castile? Addatives, scent combos? I don't need a lifetime supply of baby soap!

You scented 14 pounds of soap with 3 TBSP of Lavender EO? If so, that isn't even a faint scent. It will become a nonexistent scent. [/i]

i wouldn't worry about the lavender scent when rebatching and scenting. the lavender will disappear, so just do a rebatch and scent as you please. you can also make a different recipe by adding another oil like CO to the part you are rebatching with the correct amount of lye to make a different recipe. or maybe cut your bars in half and take them to a birthing center or women's shelter or something. you can write off any donations for taxes. just get a reciept
