I took the soap out of the mold today, and the hardness is sort of like an "almost hard'- toffee candy. It cuts, but isn't extreme rock hard, either. It looks sort of like there might have been a very small amount of seperation in some areas, but there isn't any pools of oil either. The surface still has a tiny bit of an oily film, but i think it may dry as it was only in the mold for about 2 days. It seems to be mild, didn't get a "zap" from zap testing it, just "yucky" soap taste.
I am having a bit of a problem with determing when to put it in the mold when stirring. Think I am stirring it too much with the stick blender and it"s getting pretty thick before putting it in the mold, amd then I am having "air pockets" from the thick "pudding" type soap that doesn't fill the mold properly.
The one disappointment is that there doesn't seem to be much of a coffee scent, just the brown color.
On the up side even though I boo-booed and used well water it doesn't seem to have caused problems that I can see..
