So I made a batch of soap over a week ago. I used Georgia Peach FO from Aztec, the batch was 26 oz of oils and I used 2 oz of FO since the scent was kinda light. Well the soap went through gel like most of my soaps and the next morning there were little water droplets on the top and they smelled like FO. I cut the soap and it was fine but a little oily, it reeks of the FO. Its a bit better now than it was but its still tacky and reeks of too much FO.
Will all the FO ever reabsorb or is the batch ruined?

I had an FO do that to me! Sandalwood sage something. Anyways it never sorted itself out, they are still sticky months later, and I'm not speaking to them. Sorry, I'm no help...

Pretty soap. I made a recent batch with more then normal amount of FO, the surface had oily spots when I cut it but it soaked back in after 3 days or so. The soap still is really strongly scented but I know it will eventually fade some.

If you use the fo again put the mold in the freezer. From your pic I would say it started to overheat when certainly can happen with some fragrances. If it is to strong smelling I would blot off the excess instead of waiting for it to re-absorb. Let it cure for a few months. I have a wonderful rose fo that will overheat and try to seperate in the center and stays softer than the balance of the soap even in the freezer. I just have to let it cure 3-4 months for the soft area to harden

It really has the look of a nice peach! I've had separation problems a few times and it's always with certain fruit scents. Some sites even mention it in the FO description. I always blot off the excess from the top then let cure for a few months. It's always fine in the end but such a worry while it's happening. Beautiful soap though!
