I'm still experimenting with color, so I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination. That particular soap was made with micas by Nurture Soap.

I was going to do this in 100 gm batches then I realized I can master batch the oils and the lye solution with all of the additives. Weigh each of the master batched solutions, divide total weights by 10 and make 10 small batches with the "master batched" oils and lye solutions. That will be much easier than trying to individually weigh out the NaOH, additives and water.

I used 200 gms oils and 1 tsp mica in each batch of oils (probably too much mica). 93 gms solution (NaOH, H2O, SC, SL & sugar) into each batch of oil and 7 gms FO into each batch.

Thanks, Teresa, for posting this method.

I used it today to test three micas with a few different alternatives. It is like a pink rainbow soap. : )
It was a great system for this type of pour.

You are welcome. However, I learned it from Carmen Iclodean. She's on a FB group I'm in and has an instagram account as well. She does some amazing things with soap. (Don't forget to post your cut!!)

ETA: This is the soap that inspired my "mica madness."
