While doing research on Titanium Dioxide this morning I came across a few articles in reguards to the possible carcinogin factor with T.D. ANy truth to this? I was going to buy some from N.G.C. I wanted something to whitened my soap because of F/O.
I stopped because I am not sure about it. Any ideas?

it is true that you should not inhale large amounts of it.

I had heard about TD related to risk of skin cancer under sun exposure. To reduce the risk, the TD particles would need to be coated. This form of TD is more expensive.

The article you linked warns against various small particles, not specifically TD:

Despite repeated requests for micronized pigments in our colour cosmetics, we insist on using only coarse or fine particles of mineral pigments

SO who do I buy it from then? TKB trading or Natures Candle? Or does someone have a better supplier.
I am making a soap today called Summer Lemon Tea. I am working on a slow moving recipe because this is my first usage of Iron oxides. But I do need a white for my soaps.
