We were talking about ginger in one of our threads, and it got me thinking about this recipe for a stir-fry that I adore  Enjoy!

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons chopped red pickled ginger
1 tablespoon chopped crystallized ginger
1/4 cup water
1 1/2 tablespoons plum sauce
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon sugar

3/4 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons cooking oil
2 tablespoons julienned young ginger
1/2 cup pineapple chunks
1 teaspoon cornstarch dissolved in 2 teaspoons water

Directions:
1. Combine sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.

2. Place a wok over high heat until hot. Add oil,
swirling to coat sides. Add beef and stir-fry until
barely pink, about 2 minutes. Add young ginger and
stir-fry for 30 seconds.

3. Add pineapple and sauce; bring to a boil. Add
cornstarch solution and cook, stirring, until
sauce boils and thickens.

I LOVE to cook and try new recipes. I believe I will try this one soon! Thanks for posting! Do you serve this over rice? I bet Jasmine rice would be tasty :)

Yes, I usually serve it over rice. I have made it with pork also, and it is good with pork or chicken as well :) I hope people enjoy it!
