This is what I do while waiting for my soap to be ready to unmold!!

I've made 4 of these rainbows, and one blue and white, and one pink and white. The rainbows were for the first-born in each of our son's families.
Then one blue for a second son born last year, plus a pink one because he was supposed to have been a girl!!

We have 3 grandsons now, with one due any time now, and a girl due by the end of the year!! Hooray!!

Anyway, just wanted to let you know. Anyone else do crochet or knitting??

I learned crochet and knitting at the knees of my grandma and great grandma with my mom and I sharing patterns forever. My hands don't always let me enjoy it as much as I'd like to anymore but I love it!

I have a couple WIP blankets between a niece, nephew and kids of close friends. I'm attempting my first baby cardi for my newest niece and its going slow but I'll get it done before she'd outgrow it since she's staying fairly petite as she grows.

I've crocheted so many things in my life that I'm read to hang up the needles!! Working on a black/gray/white camo blanket for my nephew right now. My newest addiction is tatting. I finally found someone with the patience to teach me. Can hardly wait to really get the hang of it.

I don't knit, I tried learning it when I was young but mine turned out all wonky, and I thought about having another go a couple of years ago but picked soap as a hobby instead

The blue, green and lavender show up better in person. Now I've begun one in the same pattern using the same mango and sage from the rainbow afghan. I'm planning ahead!! After that will come one in reglan red and white I think.
Besides, need to do these in the winter when it doesn't roast me half to death having all that yarn on my lap ..... !!!
