Believe it or not, math is in many things in life--even mini-golf, pool, kite making, etc. I owned a large childcare facility and tried to incorporate math in things the children were interested in to encourage them to find a love of math.

I took art in college and, even though I already knew art and math are very much related, the class actually taught that. I wondered if anyone would be familiar with it; it's a card game in which the object is getting the least points. The one-eyed King (King of Diamonds) is worth Zero points but the other 3 Kings (depicted with both eyes) are worth a whopping 13 points.
