LOL, @Benjamin11, you must be very young compared to the rest of us (me, almost 60) to never have heard "sawing logs." B/4 my husband and I got our CPAP machines, we both sawed logs allllllll night long. We both were very loud sawers of logs.......loud chain saws going all night and probably in harmony most times.

I, like you, wondered the connection between 'thieving' and moths but maybe the logic is that moths are thieves in that one has intact clothing but once moths get a hold of them they leave you with holey clothes--not to mixed up with 'Holy' lol. Rotten moths eat up clothing something fierce; though I personally haven't had any experience with such myself.

I'm familiar with that verse ; thanks for the reminder. I was on the right path with the connection--moths and rust rob one of the use of those items they destroy
