My soaps from this past week :) I'm pretty sure I have a serious addiction brewing here

First up - done last night - I grated a bar of fugly soap into a bowl, then I sprinkled some blueberry pop mica over the shreds, shook it all up so the mica coated the soap shreds real good & then added them to a uncolored base. End result ? Patchouli Patch of course :D

2nd - OMH - no added color or fragrance, just the basics. Sprinkled baby oatmeal on top.

3rd - Just the basics - no smell, no color ...just good ole' plain soap

4th - Just a classic lavender - dusted some mica on the top

 I think i'm in LOOOOVE with your Clssic Lavender, that is so pretty the mica really sets it off nicely.
Your presentation looks fantastic too.

Thanks :) I like the lavender too. The color in the swirl isn't quite what I wanted ( my fault, didn't add enough colorant ) but it looks great anyway I think :D

That patchouli patch is too cool! They're all great, but I particularly like that one. Bet it smells good too - I love patchouli.

It smells awesome :D You can't really see it in the pics but each of the little shreds in it is outlined in a darker blue from the pop mica, it came out so darn cool that I shredded a bar of a good soap this morning so I could make a batch of raspberry/musk blend I whipped up. the one I did this morning has pink shreds with raspberry pop mica coating it, so the shreds are a light pink and the edges are a darker pink.

Can ya tell I'm having fun with frames today ? LOL

This is the patch up close so you can see the outlines on the shreds of soap.

Utterly fantastic - I LOVE what you did with the Patchouli Patch!!! That is just the most creative idea I've seen for shreds going into another soap...that is a must try - soon - I hope....

Your classic lavender is really nice too.....nice - no make that - incredible job with all of it!

Thanks everyone :) I was so darn happy with the way that patchouli came out I had to call hubby at work to tell him. He was not as enthusiastic about it as I was...go figure !

My basic recipe consists of Tallow/CO/Palm/Castor and I use coconut milk as the liquid :) I always get a nice white bar
