Yum! That candy soap looks delicious! Reminds me of the story about Tide having to add double latches to their Tide Pods containers, because kids thought they looked like gumballs. Well, I am not a toddler, but I often have to fight to urge to eat these hand-made soap confections! So far, everything I have done is inspired by dessert.

R&R, I've been looking at molds like your clear plastic one above. (w/the Junior mints soap) I've only used wood up to this point. Can you rate that mold for me? ;) Beautiful soap btw
I would be happy to rate it for you! I've done 6 batches so far with this and I love it. It arrived fully assembled and ready to use. The two tips I would use in order to give this a 5 star is the following:

1) put a piece of wax or parchment paper down just to cover the bottom or else your soap will be hard to pry off the bottom plexi piece. Just remember to peel this off before cutting!

2) It was real hard to get the soap out (even gelled soap) with the method they suggest. Even taking it apart to get the soap out was tricky because the soap sooo wanted to stay stuck to the sides. So, I took the manufactures tip of warming it up in the oven for 5-10 minutes on 175 degrees and presto! It pushes right out!

In a nutshell, before figuring out that I had to wrm the mold a little for easy release, I would have rated it a 4 but now that I can easily get it out of the mold, I rate it a 5!

they are spendy but love the polished look and smoothness of the sides and you just cant beat having "x-ray vision"
