Ok - I confess.

I've been slithering around the forum for the last couple of days - reading, digesting, checking out all the pics, reading recipes, recommendations, and... well.... I've been *s p y i n g* 8)

I can't lie. I feel like I've been spying by reading all the great ideas and seeing the amazing pictures because I have been scribbling in my handy-dandy notebook all the things I'm going to try.

Seriously - amazing concepts and photos here. I've learned so much. I've been soaping on and off for about 30 years. Don't read too much in to that: the first 28 years give or take was doing it the way my grandmother in Corbin, Kentucky taught me: Bacon Grease was the fat of choice. Palm Oil? Coconut Oil? Oh heavens - she would have fainted from confusion. Colors? Fragrance Oils? Oh no. No such thing existed on THAT farm, let me tell you! The only swirling she ever did was spoon in pot. She wouldn't have liked me *gettin' all fancy* on her. hehe

But alas - I do love making soap. I've tried a little of all the processes, CP, HP, and I can't lie - I do like MP - probably because it's an easy thing when I'm pressed for time and someone is whining on the phone they simply must have more of that blueberry cream soap - they don't care if it's made from goat's milk - they just have to have it - you soapers know what I mean.

So - anyway. I'm here. I promise I'm not really here to spy - it just felt like it since I wasn't posting anything!

Everyone - I've been enjoying the posts - I hope to be able to contribute! Thanks!
Trish
