I don't think you offended anyone. I came off kind of paranoid, but I know how you feel. Its nearly impossible to raise a healthy animal without using commercial feeds, but I've started using more pasture for my goats and dilluting the feed with other fillers like oats and soy. It works just as well. We're really lucky to know 'the loops' of the local livestock community and the people who will sell ya half a grass fed beef at a great price.

mmm half a grass fed beef....you mean like half a cow?? now I need to buy a new freezer lol....

My philosophy: garbage in, garbage out...got to eat good food that was raised/fed well whether it be plants, or animals... I try to get my food as close to the Earth as possible
