I made a batch of soap last night in a wooden mold, and I did as you said and put the heating pad under it and wrapped it all in a towel...and the gel was so cool and definitely a complete gel! I did look just like vaseline, good description! Thanks, I can't want to unmold it and cut it now...

Oh, I will take lots of pictures... It was my first attempt at some sort of swirl. Pink with white and the scent was peppermint! I can't want to cut into it...
