Thanks Krissy! The color is Chrome Green from Bramble Berry (Oxide). I love the way it looks for my first time but I am going to keep practicing. I will post pics when I unmold.

Well, I finally go the nerve up to try some swirls today. I made a Tea Tree facial bar with CO, OO and Lard and I can't wait to unmold it to see how it actually looks on the inside!

Here is a link to the pic...hope with works!

This is so funny...I made soap last week that looks almost the same- using green ultramarine but with pear FO. I will post pictures tonight.

I am getting ready to unmold them now...I have the mold in the freezer! I will post pics in about 1 hour. Keeping my fingers, toes and eyes crossed that it comes out well.

They look great! Nice green, too! Might your soap have frozen or gotten too cold so that it cracked when you put pressure on it to get it out of the mold?

I actually think that is what happened. I normally put the mold in the freezer for about 30 minutes but I got distracted cooking dinner and left it in there for an hour......I knew I should have let my family fend for themselves tonight!

Oh well, it doesn't matter, the cracked bar will get the same consumption as the rest of them. Now I just have to be patient for 4 weeks before I can use it...patience and me don't even sound right in the same sentence!

Since I don't gel, most of my soaps go in the freezer and stay there; up to overnight. I have not had any problems with cracking.

When you batch your soap, you put it in the freezer immediately? If so, I have never tried that. I normally leave my mold covered on the shelf in the basement and then prior to removing it from the mold, I put it in the freezer for about 30 minutes (helps to get it out of the mold).

I put mine in the fridge or the freezer as soon as the batch is in the mold.
