I just made several of the rollerball and purse size body sprays. I stink at picture taking, but wanted to see how these look to everyone. TIA y'all

@Nonnie , I thought that the shell and flowers demanded the focus. In the thumbnail, I didn't even see the product. It was a little better when I clicked on the thumbprint and saw the enlarged photo. I think the blue in the flowers draws my eyes up to the top of the photo. Since the shell is large and textured, I see that next. So the product on the side and bottom of the photo get a little lost for me. That is a really pretty shell, and those are beautiful blue flowers. If you'd like to use those, maybe you can play around with where and how they are positioned in relationship to the product.

2nd attempt. I need additional lighting for sure. But the "less is more" is better for sure

You don't need more light, you need more balance. Place the photo area next to a window with the curtain/blinds out of the way. You need white on the other side away from the window. When the light comes in, it will bounce off the white to help eliminate shadows. Right next to the window, you need something to diffuse the light. The idea is to create light as uniform as possible. You also have a reflection in the gold cap which can be helped using a black background so that the reflection is stopped. You also need to focus on the actual image you're taking a picture of so that the background blurs a bit. These videos will show you how.
