how do you make it go thru out the entire batch i only can make it happen on the top
 
You have to get your color down into the base by drizzling it from different heights above your soap. I have discovered that squirt bottles work really well for this. Sometimes you have to be a little more forceful with squeezing the colorant out than you might think in order to get it to the bottom. I just tried this method today, but is looks very promising so far - think it might work. My soap is gelling right now. I did an ITP swirl into a log mold so we will see tomorrow how it comes out. (if I got swirls throughout) :D
 
Hold your container with the swirl portion higher up. At first, it feels like you don't have a lot of control, but the higher up, the deeper it will.
