swirling

I have tried to put swirls in my soap and it looks good when I first do it and then once it has sat for awhile it blends into one color. What am I doing wrong?

Hey krisp7! Let's see if we can solve this for you. What type of colorants are you using? What about fragrance oils? Some fragrance oils will discolor your soap, turning it all into one color. Let us know...

I am new at this and I am just using the melt and pour soap. I am using the colors and fragrances from the craft store.

I don't know a whole lot about MP, but I think you should investigate non-bleeding colors. I'm pretty sure the ones you get at the craft store are FD&C and D&C colors, which are water based and bleed like crazy.
