I am planning on doing a 100% CO soap tonight. Can I superfat as high as 25%? It is winter, and I want it to be easy on the skin, but I would LOVE to do a 100% CO soap :D

Thanks!
Stacy

I usually do 20% too Stacykins. I have a normal to oily skin in summer and a normal to dry skin in winter and can use my 20% sf CO soap all year round...HTH!

(HCG - CO is coconut oil  )

Whew, so I made it with 20% superfat. It took FOREVER to trace! But once it did I added a FO called vanilla drizzled honey. Smells awesome and looks nice and creamy.

It also has tussah silk to the lye water and goats milk at trace. It'll be wonderful. I made six soap muffins in my silicon bakeware, and the rest went into a pringles can. I assume it'll get rock hard quickly? I plan to check it tomorrow and if need be cut it so it doesn't get too hard to cut.

Tess! It doesn't look too pretty post cut because it was a bit crumbly. But the soap muffins look great! :D I'll have to charge up my camera.

It smells SO pretty! The vanilla drizzled honey scent is amazing!
