I have experience with making transparent soap -- comments:
This is your soap base:
Sunflower oil
Cetric acid (citric acid)
Castic soda (caustic soda aka NaOH sodium hydroxide)
This is the "polyol mix" used after making the soap to render it transparent:
Sugar
Water
Glycerin
Alcohol
Your soap base needs an INS value of 160 or higher. You can't get there using only sunflower oil. You need at least some coconut oil, babassu oil or PKO (palm kernal oil). In any case, this is a tricky soap to make. Most soapers end up with a sticky mess. Unless you're an experienced soapmaker, be prepared to make several trial & error batches before you're happy with the result.
I don't make transparents any more because it is too expensive to make compared to Melt & Pour soap which is basically the same thing, so why bother?
