Sugar glitter use?

I have a few small containers of sugar "glitter" and was wondering if it would be safe to use as a decorator on the tops of my soap or maybe mixed in at trace?

I've used it on top of my cupcake soaps without a problem.

I use it frequently, and have not had a problem. Also the white sugar pearls.

I love the look of sugar pearls and have used them several times without a problem. However, the last time I used them, I uncovered my soap loaf to find they had melted into a gooey yellowish mess on top of my soap...little dollops of yellow goo melted into the soap. So, I would say be careful with the heat to make sure they don't melt. Good luck!
