I did this in the log, I'm not sure how it's going to come out on the inside, but I don't think the top looks too bad :)

I'm so tickled this is what looks to be at the moment my first in the mold successful swirl :)

It's in the oven all cozy and warm right now, so we'll see tomorrow how it came out :)

Woooooo!

I think I'm becoming a believer of swirling in the log versus in the pot! :D

I have an in the pot swirl in the oven setting up as well. I'll have to post pics of both together after they come out of the mold and are cut.

This did not come out at all like I looked on top :( I think I know why though. Not thinking about how it would be cut I did most of the swirly motion lenghtwise in the mold rather than more side to side :(

I soaped Eternity for my hubby and boys too, completely forgetting that some blues morph to a more lavender color in CP since I usually do CPHP, they were not impressed LOL

Soooooo, I grated it and rebatched into a more manly looking bar.

Last but not least we have the Jovan Musk type I did. It smells soooooooo good. This is mine, it's ALL MINE :D

Very very nice, they all look so creamy! I love the Jovan Musk... mmm!

When I would do an in the mold swirl like you did on the Strawberry Coconut, my soaps would always come out like that too. Swirly on the top and drags of colour. What I find works better is if you alternate pouring one colour and another in the mold until it is full. Then both colours are distributed through the whole log. Then take a chopstick and do the swirling with the chopstick touching the bottom of the log. Then the swirls will go all the way through!

Oh I will definitely try that :) Today I think :D

Truly lovely soaps Rhonda! I think it still looks great to have the pretty swirl on the top of the bar and the marbled effect on the sides - you just tell yourself...."this is exactly how I meant it to turn out"!

Tanya :)

Beautiful soaps

Soap, Beautifull soaps, soaps to bathe in, soaps to sleep and smell from, soaps beautifull soaps, swirling and twirling around the mold.
Soaps beautiful soaps.

Aren't you lucky you can't hear me sing to you.
But they are beautiful Soaps.

Thanks everyone :) I guess we're always our own worst critic. BUT, I'm not giving up on that swirl, someday I'll get it :D

In my eyes those all look fab :D
But I'm guessing there's more coming with swirls right to the bottom...am I right?
