straight sided small soap log molds

I was wondering if anyone can recommend a place to buy some soap molds that would produce a straight side. I found them on WSP but was hoping someone had a supplier or link for even Amazon that perhaps sold them cheaper. I think I would like to stick with some silicone ones if possible so I wont have to mess with lining them.

I looked around local for some small plastic storage boxes and baking pans etc. and such but they all have tapered sides. I really would like them a normal rectangle. I just want a basic loaf mold. Of course I could trim the sides but rather just make it simple and right from the get go.

I figured someone would have a great supplier or be able to share a tip. I appreciate it. There is a lot of small soapers on here and your knowledge amazes me! Hope I can be of some help later on as I learn more8)

I use a $10 bamboo kitchen organizer box thingy from Canadian Tire. It's not very tall though which is why my soaps are quite square and chunky. Can't wait until my silicone loaf one arrives from Saffire Blue.

Brambleberry has the same silicone loaf in a 10" size that I think is more practical. Still not inexpensive, I've purchased some of the less expensive logs made for baking, and besides not having the straight side, they aren't reinforced enough and tend to bow out. I have the 10" one and really like it for the batches that I want to put in the fridge. Also I usually give it an extra day before taking the soap out of the mold.

It looks like the same loaf molds that Wholesale Supplies Plus sells except they are in America and Saffire Blue appears to be in Canada. I like the looks of the Soap Hutch Divider Mold Saffire Blue sells but wow that's expensive for me and the boys to have a fun weekend making soap for us lol. I bet it is nice though. I could not spit out the name for the kitchen organizers. I also looked at them and the only ones I found had a big cut out for a handle on each end and were very shallow or they also were tapers or had some big indentions or something in them. I am just being cheap I know but I wish I could of found something from a dollar store here to work awesome lol.

I bought a silicone liner from Bramble Berry and then just used scrap pieces of 1" thick styrofoam pinned together with nails to make a box around it. I never have to worry about partial gel, LOL!

Are you (or do you know someone) handy? I bought a silicone liner from BB and made - ok, had DH make - a mold for me. Cheap, and works like a charm.

I bought a few small ones at Micheal's. I used a 40% off coupon, so got it for around $12. It makes about 8 one inch bars. Oh - it is acrylic.

Dollar store silicone loaf molds are way to flimsy for pouring soap. You would be better with a silicone line as MzMolly stated and make a reinforcement for it. I would think a basket could probably be made gluing doweils together. Look at the basket from ED for their molds

I've never seen them, just read of folks saying they found
them there.
