Soapmaker 3 and EO's

Im thinking of getting Soapmaker 3 even though I am just starting out. I am kinda crazy about tracking costs, inventory and materials, but I am horriable with making spreadsheets.

Would you recomend it for a newbee? (seems like it would be easier to start off on the right foot with tracking materials and invertory)

Also does it keep track of things like amount of EOs you have left?

As long as you get the Professional version then yes, it has an inventory module and will track usage, cost, amount left, cost per batch, etc., etc.
I got it when it first came out and was still in beta mode, and I LOVE it!! I would recommend it to anyone - and the good thing about it, is, yes, it was made and created for soapmakers, but with a little creativity you can use it for just about any craft. I use it for ALL my soaps, my candles and a few other things.

YES it will save you lots of bad batches. Well worth it.
