@Sososo & The Efficacious Gentleman: I think the both of you have a point. I made a soap with hard oils that I allowed less than 130 days to cure and it lasted for a good run. I'm kinda sick of that soap right now, but that goes to show that a good soap does not always need a long cure (though it may make it better is what I'm believing).
I also am stuck waiting for my most recent soap to firm up for cutting (it is made from 100% soft oils, mostly olive). I would have made a thread requesting help on how to speed up the process had I not come across Sososo's post. It gave me enough peace to leave things alone and I am now finding that it is much firmer now Than it was on Tuesday morning (it was made on Monday morning).
