Does it accelerate? My current plumeria accelerates something fierce.

I've never used it in CP, only HP, so I can't speak as to acceleration. Sorry! But it's the best-smelling plumeria I have found!

If you look at the reviews for it on the website, a lot of users will say whether there was acceleration and/or discoloration.

Scrolling through real quick, I saw a couple people mention that it did accelerate, but a couple saying it didn't for them..

I had to make a ton of lilac soaps for wedding favors and am not a fan of florals. I still have a tiny bit left in my huge bottle and it makes me sick to even look at. I had only one mold so made them one at a time--my kitchen smelled sickly sweet for months.
I also used up my (gross, misbegotten) Cherry Vanilla on chocolate cherry guest bars for a friend because the scent smelled like Jergen's lotion and I hated it. So artificial.
I kind of like BB's Rosehip-Jasmine I used as a special order for another friend. Overall, though, boo to sweet/floral scents.

Mostly, I'm dead sick of the last scent I soaped with, since it smells up my house, and super in love with the next scent I soap with, whereupon I get sick of it, etc etc.

This is so funny! The variations in scent perception that people have noted on this forum have left me less confident about how "good" I smell when I am wearing my favorite fragrance. Now I am wondering whether my perfume smells like feet to the person standing next to me. Lol. I guess we will never know.

Yes, you should worry about how the fragrance you are wearing smells to others... I come across people wearing something that is clearly an applied fragrance, but it smells really bad to me. (ew, did they MEAN to do that?, *step away slowly*.) Even more people put it theirs on way too strong.

PS I'm not saying YOU stink or anything, I can't smell over my internet connection. Just that it happens with other people.

Fragrances tend to give me a migraine. Some worse than others. Lilac, orchid and lily are the worst for me. Because of that, I'm not planning on using FOs in my soaps. I'll use EOs for their specific properties, but unless someone specifically requests a scent, I'm not planning on going there.

I just made a soap with Lavender and Cedar and I am obssessively thinking, "Why do people like this? Why?" It's on a loop and I can't stop it!!!

Mind you, I like cedar, but would use it as an accent only to give a base to another scent.

Lavender, I totally agree with you. I can't stand the stuff, and a friend of mine won't use anything else. Her latest addiction is lavender (ick) and musk (double ick). Put the two together and it's triple ick.

Ugh, mine is the BB Lavender Cedar also. The first soap I made with it was nice. The second one was okay. The third+ was gag. I have four people that now that's all they want. Pfft. With you, newbie.

Not to worry James. I have liked it in the past okay but maybe I used too much this time. It was tooooo strong. I have a HUGE bottle of it so it's not like I detest it. The only thing that really gets me is BB's Fresh Snow fresh in the mold. And I don't get the popularity of lavender in general.

Yep, it was BB's. I can detect the lavender but not the cedar, at least not the cedar I know.

I like some florals as long as they are not straight up floral. Lotus blossom from NG is really nice.
I don't like anything "rose" or lavender. Both smell like toilet spray or those cheap $10 baskets of toiletries ypu can get around Christmas time.
BB energy is my all time most hated FO. Ewww... I can't see the love for it. But I guess each nose is different. It's giving me migraine and nausea.

And yeah, my dear spouse adores ocean scents. Which means I get to deal with ricing, accelerating, soap on a stick every now and again as well.

Maybe you should try Celestial Sea from Pure Fragrance Oils - it behaves beautifully in CP. And it's the freshest, most realistic ocean scent I've ever found and I've tried many.

Oh, really? I gotta try that because I'm tired of tolerating the extreme acceleration. The last batch I made as HP (and I hate HP).
