The make 3 mistakes on one batch is a good way to learn. And we have all had batches like that, I promise.

Don't forget to let that batch cure before you judge it. You still need 4-6 weeks minimum cure.

The white patches may be harder soap scraped from the side of the pot when you rebatched it. I get those too. The downfall of being a compulsive scraper lol. But over all it looks like you made a very serviceable soap out of you volcano.
