I have this thing coming up next week that I'm not particularly looking forward to (that also happens to be on my birthday, boo). I can't drink every waking hour, so I'm using soap therapy :D

The blue is supposed to be swirled and hopefully it is on the inside. I let it sit too long before I tried to give it a Lyn top and it just chunked up, so I tried to smooth it.... errr, yeah. Oops.

-----------------------------------------

Just going to add pics to the first post so I don't keep bumping this up, I should just do this in a blog post but I'm lazy... here's the unmolded pics. I made a triple batch for this and separated it into 3-2lb 4oz batches that fit perfectly into my silicone molds, then scented/colored each, so they're all the same except those 2 things.

The pumpkin lager seriously heated up. 2 hours past pour and I checked on it and it had gelled and the top cracked in a couple places. I really like how the top is looking, almost frosted. I hope it stays like this:

The other 2 aren't showing any gelling, but I won't know if I got partial gel until tomorrow:

The orange creamsicle (orange EO and BB's vanilla bean) smells soooooooo good:

The blue seems to have swirled about like I wanted (ITP swirl), the holes are from my Lyn top failure LOL:

Soap looks great! I like the way the pumkin gelled. Sorry you have something unpleasant happening on your birthday. NOT the way anyone wants to spend their Bday.

I like them all, but am especially intrigued with the color of the pumpkin one. Is it from the fo? or did you use real pumpkin in it? you also called it "pumpkin lager" - does this mean you added beer? to what do you attribute the luscious brown color?

Thanks everyone =)

The "pumpkin lager" is a Bramble Berry FO, and the color is 100% from it. I was very pleased to see that color, it matches the scent nicely. No beer added (that's on my to-try list though!) or pumpkin added.

The orange/vanilla started gelling after I unmolded and it looks similar to the pumpkin one now, except it's still the light color.

As soon as this migraine subsides a bit I will cut and update (hopefully it doesn't take too long to go away...).

Soaping is such good therapy...........You know sometimes I have to drag my butt to work nowadays and what I will do is make a log of soap before work............Pop it in the fridge and then I just go with the flow while working and think about going home to unmold my soap.........Sad but true LOL
Happy birthday Amy I love your soaps think you have done a great job the pumpkin one is such a pretty colour. Love Bramble Berry :0)

Love the orange one and hope you can think of soaping next week while your at your thingey. You know they say to think of places and things you like and it transports you to another place.

Relle.

Thanks guys =)

More soap therapy (finally figured out how to show pictures directly from facebook), scented with WSP Twilight Woods. Going to have to get more colors and mess around some more. The brown is cocoa powder, blue is ultramarine, and green oxide.
