no one asked what was cooking over the weekend? I did "curve", black licorice, and today "butt naked" that i will change to "bare naked"! smells great, tried to swirl, we'll see tomorrow.

I'm getting shipments of base oils and FO's this week. Can't wait to make beer, wine and scrubby soap with strawberry or blueberry seeds. I think I'm also going to try HP cause I'm too impatient!

i love hp when i cant wait, try cockpot, its great. If you need any advice, let me know?

I just made a tomato & herb kitchen/garden soap today! It has tomato paste, rosemary EO, parsley, and ground luffa in it. I think it's gonna be good!

I just tossed fudge brownie scented bunnies in the mold :)

And I did a blend of the margarita lime/banana coconut - and colored it neon green and hot pink ITP swirls. Poured that into little punch bug and 60's type flower molds for teen girls ( I hope they like it anyway )

Lotion yesterday, sugar scrub the day before and I think that's it :)

I did a lavender/peppermint scented with lavender vanilla. Not something I really like, but a fragrance that a friend loves, so made it for her. Also did my very first successful OMH! Yay. I'm OUT of FO's, EO's, & almost out of CO. Time to restock on everything. *sigh* Oh Darn! Guess I "need" to go shopping!

coconut oil at wamart, pretty cheap, fo sale at aroma haven, 4bucks for 4 oz! I hate running out of stuff.

Thanks honor, I may be hitting you up about HP. Just need to talk my Mom out of one of her crock pots first! :p

For those of you adding food, tomato paste, cucumber, I think I read some others... do you put anything in there as a preservative? I have a book that I guess is a bit outdated, it mentioned using grapefruit seed extract. When I did research on it, everything I found said it didn't really work as a preservative. I've also found info that you don't need a preservative. Anyone know?

I made Limey Loofa in a PVC pipe. Parsley powder made a gorgeous green color and the loofa in the center is really cool looking.

God I hate it too. I just went on a little soap binge & didn't realize I was using everything up so fast! Such is life~
I don't mind shopping though. My b-day is coming up soon & I have placed my requests with various family members about what soap supply needs/wants I have  I know totally spoiled brat here.
OK, enough...I *must* go shop LOL

This week I only made a new batch of Shea Butter Soap & a Rose Scented Soap which I'm thinking of calling Sushine Rose or Malaspina Peach Rose - not sure yet. Just cut them and I've been busy labelling soaps so I can head off to Comox tomorrow for a weekend Kiosk there.

Next week I'm hoping to get 6 more soaps done at least.

Cheers
Lindy
