Tonight I had soap on the brain. Whilst putting the creamy mashed potatoe on the cassarole dish of tuna mornay I caught myself "Decorating" it as if it were the top on one of my freshly made soap batches  and as if that were not bad enough my laptop went into hibernation and here I was trying to type in CPOP as my password to get back online  I think I need to call it a night

I've had days like that where I refer to the mashed potatoes as soap ie "I can make the soap with either the dried flakes or from scratch. Which ever you want." I've replaced other words with soap also. Words that have absolutely nothing to do with soap in any way. I blame the last bit partly on my Fibro Fogged brain.

I got some nice swirls going in the paint last week as I was mixing and dh said that would look good if it was soap.

I think constantly of my next orders from suppliers. I almost have what a few carry and charge for stuff memorized. And I even think of doing without certain things I used to love just to be able to afford a bigger bottle of a scent.  A trip to the thrift store is always for soap stuff and anything else I find is just incidental. I look for things like measuring cups (I found a little one ozer glass cup with a spout, no less at Goodwill), stainless steel bowls and so on.

I find myself 'wasting' time on Friday's ... when I should be working ... thinking about the soaps I might make over the weekend. It's not really a 'waste; of time, but not what I should be doing as the 'officer in charge of home detention'.

I seem to spend a lot of time thinking about what colours to use and in what design. There's so many things to get inspiration from ... especially looking at what others are doing!

Soaping is such a wonderful hobby and I find it calms my mind after a busy week!
