Are these just adorable or what! :D I was wondering though....will adults actually care to use cute little sheep shaped soaps? (Oh my that's a tongue twister there. Say it ten times fast, it comes out as sheep shaped shopes :D )
Anyway, are these too much of a kid thing? I just ordered 5 of them. I thought it would be cute since I am making soap out of sheep's milk.

You know, there are sheep people just like there are frog people and penguin people. Adults are just as goofy as kinds if they are into a particular icon. Sheep are no different. I say go for it. Worst case, lots of adults get them for kids :) Oh wait that's goats... :D

CUTE! The molds and the goats!

I really like those sheep molds. I think they'll make adorable soap.

you could do a lavender soap and call it "Countin Sheep" , lol...
i'd buy a sheep soap

My girlfriend and many of our friends are fiber geeks, and they'd buy them. They'd buy a number of them and eventually use them after they looked at them a lot. I got some molds for sheep shaped shopes (DANG IT! Now I'm saying it that way!!! :D ) just for that reason.

I think they're cute and I'd buy them and seeing as you're making the soap out of sheep's milk, I think they're perfect.

Thanks guys! Good to hear that some peole will actually like the mold :D BTW, my sheep are cuter than the goat :D Don't worry I'm joking. Since I can't quite figure out how to do pictures, here is a link to see my sheep! http://crossroadscountryranch.com/oursheep.aspx So far my favorite sheep are Maybelle and one of Mercy's lambs that I sold :( Her name was Jubilee. She's in the second pic. at the very top. Isaac is awsome but....this time of year he's really into head-butting:)

I must admit those are very cute babies :D The lamb is a Barbados Blackbelly hair sheep right? I once had mixed American Blackbelly and wool sheep Rideau Arcott. (That was an ooops:) They were very sweet sheep though
(Edit).
That's pretty cool that your goat had triplets. My sheep have only ever had twins. I bought a lamb last winter though that is a QUAD! I am hoping for lots of labs from her this year.

Close! He's a Barbados sheep, but not a Blackbelly - he is growing a lovely set of curly horns. A friend gave him to me to bottle-raise last winter, and now he has four girlfriends - two Barbados ewes, a Katahdin/Dorper ewe and a Katahdin/Oxford ewe, Nala, who is the suckiest sheep I have ever met (and is, unfortunately, woolly).

It's funny, a lot of people warned me against bottle-raising a ram lamb, but Leroy is very gentle and respectful.

I had two sets of triplets this year, first time ever. One doe didn't clean off her buckling's face though, and I was out on my school bus run, so he didn't make it. I had to bottle-raise one of the other triplets, so now I have another useless, but adorable, wether on my hands - Raphael. Yes, I'm a pushover.

I have 3 of those sheep molds - they are too cute! The flexible mold is very easy to work with and the soaps are a nice size. Five sheep molds will probably hold almost a 1 lb batch. That's what I make, but since I just have 3 molds, I have to use 2 other different molds as well. Have fun!

I agree, your sheep are adorable. Love all the photos on your site! I'm partial to sheep, too, although I know nothing about raising them. Notice my name - Ewenique.

Thanks everyone!
My ram was not bottle raised but was always really sweet and would never head butt anyone until this fall. I still love how friendly he is though. Ya, I've read that you shouldn't handle rams at alll when they are little, because it's better for them to be afraid of you than comfortable. How could I help that with such a sweet little guy that just wanted to be petted all the time?:) We have a lamb that was given to us who was raised on a bottle. She is SO sweet!

Ewenique~ I looooove that! Very creative. I'm glad you liked the sheep :D Unless you live in the middle of a city you should get one lol :D I Don't think your neighbors would take too kindly a loud baaaa at 5 in the morning when your sheep is telling you "FEED ME!!!"

Thanks for the encouragment ChrissyB!
