Oh TeresaT you must remedy this! Hope OP doesn't mind the tangent on this thread since he/she is obvi a fan, but I was referring to Shaun of the Dead, which is my favorite of Pegg's "Cornetto trilogy". Though Hot Fuzz is a close second. Get thee to the video store, post haste!

Totally agree! SotD and HF are tough to choose between. The third was okay, but I just didn't care for Pegg's character enough. Too bad. Still have mad love for the boy, though, lol.

My apologies for the assumption on the avatar! I am a redhead, but I am not him, lol. And OMG, if you like a good comedy/horror, you reeeeally must see Shaun of the Dead. And then Hot Fuzz. And aaaaaalmost everything Simon Pegg has been in. I wasn't a fan of A Fantastic Fear of Everything.

Please don't apologize. I really need to get out of the cave once in a while. I did google Simon Pegg and SotD. I am pleased to announce I have seen him as "Scotty." No Shaun of the Dead, I'm afraid. However, after quickly scanning the reviews, I'll have to give it a go. The most impressive "review" was the fact that Pegg and his cowriter decided NOT to do a sequel because they had accomplished what they wanted to do in the original film and it didn't warrant a sequel (and they killed off too many characters). That shows a lot of creative integrity and not just a "hand me the check" attitude. Most would have made the crappy sequel with new characters.
