Can anyone help me please? I am new to this and am looking for a soap cutter manufacturer.

I can't tell you the hours I've spent phoning and emailing different types of companies literally around the UK in search of someone who could knock up some cutters for me. I've tried laser cutters, water jet cutters, black smiths, press knives, plastic mouldings - all sorts.

Basically, what I need for consistancy and speed of production are 2 different shaped cutters which I imagine would be rather like the metal pastry cutters you have in your kitchen.

Can anyone help me by telling me where I can order such a cutter from?

Any suggestions will be greatly received as it is soooooo frustrating!

Thank you fellow soap makers!

I had inquired with a carpenter about building me a soap cutter. He said he could not manufacture one because he didn't have a drill press for making the perfect holes required. I think your best bet would be to find a local carpenter, handyman or metal bender with access to the right equipment. Sometimes independent contractors are more willing to take on small projects than large companies. Find a dude that loves what he does and has lots of skill. He did build me some lovely soap curing cabinets for a reasonable price, also building them to fit some racks that I already had. The larger businesses or cabinet makers I had inquired with didn't want to take on the project or wanted to charge waaaay to much. The guy I found to do it for me responded to this with "well some people are just stupid or out to screw you." Tell the guy, "This is what I want, These are the specs, This is my budget, can you make it happen?"
