these are my lemon coconut cream salt bar that i just made today. i am not happy with they way they turned out. But hubby says that they look sellable, after all he says they are handmade. i don't think so... what do you think...are you suppose to feel the salt? I can feel the salt on the bars.

Why dont you try this tutorial... this way you can compare to the results and get the feel for it :)

thanks, i just thought that they would come out smooth like regular cp soap. I did not expect it to look the way it does. was afraid to sell them and it would turn people off. By the thanks for the tutorial.

Yeah I dont think it comes out as smooth as regular soap :)

Yeah I dont think it comes out as smooth as regular soap :)

They'll get very smooth under after a couple of uses though!
 
I think they look just fine for salt bars, and yes, they'll smooth out with the first use.

My salt bars come out smoother if I use individual plastic molds.
